This piece was created originally as an acrylic pouring canvas & decided to paint a half butterfly and floral design over it. Using a mixture of metallic and flat colors (similar to the seahorse painting i also created around the same time) it has the perfect amount of contrast between sheen and matte in one piece. This piece represents strength and growth, as well as beauty and humbleness. I absolutely love the finished result of this one. 

This product has been protected with 1 coat of high gloss varnish and 2 coats of Satin varnish, cured for 2+ weeks. Varnishing the art not only enhances the colors but also provides a protective top coat which prevents damage from "wear and tear", color fading, exposure to water/ getting wet or spilled on, oils from fingers while handling, and the sun's UV rays, creating a long-lasting, durable, piece of art that will uphold and maintain its beauty for years to come.
